The Missionary Disciples Institute (MDI) at Marian University is an experience unlike any other. Designed for high school students (rising sophomores to rising seniors), MDI offers a chance to spend a week of your summer living on our park-like campus in a community of high school leaders from across the country.
In this unique 5-day experience, you’ll learn and grow as a missionary disciple. And you’ll leave inspired and equipped to serve your community through the Church.

WHAT HAPPENS AT MDI?
The heart of the MDI experience is organized around ‘tracks’ — small groups led by some of Marian University’s very own faculty and staff. Each track focuses on a particular ministry of Jesus Christ, from praise to service, teaching, prayer, among others. Here, you will not only learn, but be equipped to further Christ’s mission in the world today. Regardless of the track you are in, you’ll experience daily Mass, dynamic moments of prayer, nationally known keynote speakers, hikes in our Nature Preserve (Ecolab), mentorship from MU college students, and small group reflection time each night.
